Lapis Lazuli Spring

静謐な森の奥深く
猟師や釣り人すら
名付ける者もなく
その存在を知ることもない
瑠璃色の泉

Seiitsu na mori no oku fuka ku
Ryōshi ya tsuri bito sura
Na zukeru mono mo naku
Sono sonzai o shiru kotomo nai
Ruriiro no izumi

深々と湖水を湛える泉
その泉へ侵入する者を
拒むかのように
尽きせぬ水源を守るように
周辺を取り囲む樹氷の数々

Fukabuka to kosui o tata eru izumi
Sono izumi e shinnyu suru mono o
Kobamu kano yōni
Tsuki senu suigen o mamoru yōni
Shuhen o tori kakomu jyuhyō no kazukazu

さざ波ひとつ立てず
水面の変化を包み込む湖水
生と死がもたらす穢れ
地表を覆ひ隠す雪の結晶
その青と白のコントラスト

saza nami hitotsu tatezu
Suimen no henka o tsutsu mi komu kosui
Sei to shi ga motarasu kegare
Chihyō o ōi kakusu yuki no kesshō
Sono ao to shiro no kontorasuto

肉体を持つことがなく
物音ひとつ立てることがなく
立ち去る跡を残すこともない
この地を訪れる者は
神々か聖霊か

Nikutai o motsu kotoga naku
Monooto hitotsu tateru kotoga naku
Tachisaru ato o nokosu kotomo nai
Kono chi o otozu reru mono wa
Kamigami ka seireika

ENG:

Deep in the silent forest, no one has given it a name
Even hunters and fishermen are unaware of its existence

A spring filled with deep lake water

As if to refuse those who enter the spring
As if to protect the infinite source of water

Countless frost-covered trees surround it

The lake water envelops the changing water
surface without a single ripple

Snowflakes purify the impurities brought
by life and death and cover the earth

The contrast of blue and white

That being has
No body, makes
No sound, and leaves
No trace
When he leaves

Who visits this place?
Is it God or the Holy Spirit?

[Short Poem]

A spring gushes forth quietly in the forest.
A lapis lazuli spring.
No one can approach it.
No one notices it.
The gazes of many gods are fixed on
The blue lake's surface.
